How to Enrol at Our School
 

When you contact the school, please ask for Mike Coyle who handles enrolment enquiries, or you are welcome to email us at admin@ourplace.school.nz

Mike our office administrator will be happy to explain our school requirements and supply you with a Parent Information package for your child(ren).

Enrolments can be made at any time, and we currently have places available  for children, through until 2018.

As you enrol your child we require a copy of your childs Birth Certificate, so that we can verify the date of birth. This is a legal requirement. We are also required to collect information from your childs Immunisation Certificate. The certificate is on the back page of the Tamaki Ora Health Book, or we have copies available here at school.

At St Matthews, we have a pre-entry programme for students about to start school. This involves visits to the new entrants class prior to your childs start date. Our new entrant teacher, Jan Ward-Allen  uses these visits to help your child get aquainted with the various proceedures such as library visits, lunch times etc and to also get to know thier new classmates! 

We would ask you to talk to  Jan about the times that would be best for school visits.

We are a signatory to the Code of Practice for the Pastoral Care of International Students. Should you be interested in this enrolment form, please contact Tim Anderson (Principal) for our International Student information package.
